November 2011

November was filled with lots of fun. We started the month out with a preschool field trip to the Fire Station. This is where Eli began his obsession with fire trucks. Eli smiling in the sun. Even though it's silly, he's still the cutest boy ever.
Eli sprayin' the fire hose. He thought that was the coolest! Water, hoses and a truck! What could be better?

"Ears. Loud."
And the obsession begins!

In November we had to say goodbye to our good friends and neighbors The Colwells. Sariah misses her friend Tabitha. Come back guys!

In November we also visited family and friends in Salt Lake. We got to witness two seasons, Fall and Winter.

Building a snowman the first day we were there

Pouring ceramics at Gammy's house

Sariah helped me make a new nativity set for my collection.

Bowling at Olympus Bowling Lanes

Sariah and Daddy got a higher score than Eli and Mommy

We went to Gardner Village to do the scavenger hunt of elves with Kirk and the boys. After that we went back to the house and had some yummy hot chocolate. Heather, Tim and Ben found all of the elves!

A view of what Thanksgiving dinner was like

33 place settings- I'm extremely glad (as I'm sure was the rest of the family) that we decided to use disposable plates and cups. There was still plenty of dishes to do with the 2 platters of turkey, two big bowls of mashed potatoes, 2 pans of stuffing, 1 gallon of gravy, 8 dozen rolls, 2 pans of Jello, bean casserole, peas and 7 pies.

Eating one of Grandma's apples
A little bruised as it was found on the ground, but still delicious!

What a great sharer!

See....... Fall!

Glazing the nativity set Sariah and I poured

We also visited the Temple lights with my family. The lights are extremely breathtaking!

We had an enjoyable month, especially our trip to Utah. We are so grateful we were able to see those we did. We are extremely blessed to be surrounded with such great friends and family.
